chainmail cache

The daemon keeps a local cache of every synced folder: headers for all of it, and bodies for a recent window plus mail read recently. Searches use it when it can answer completely and is fresh. These commands show how far it has got and maintain it.

Usage

chainmail cache

Global flags

      --output string   output format: json or table (default $CHAINMAIL_OUTPUT, then cli.toml, then table on a terminal, json otherwise)
      --socket string   daemon socket (default $CHAINMAIL_SOCKET, then cli.toml, then /run/chainmail/chainmail.sock)

Commands

• chainmail cache evict: Run a body eviction sweep now and report what it freed
• chainmail cache rebuild: Drop cached mail and backfill it again: every account, one, or one folder
• chainmail cache status: Show each account's cache state, backfill progress, bodies and budget
